Objectives

• To establish standards and advocate on behalf of its members, the profession, and the general public in order to enhance occupational therapy practice, education, and research.
• To commit to the establishment, promotion, and evaluation of standards of quality in the field of occupational therapy.
• To develop effective collaborative partnerships with the communities of interest, both internal and external to the profession of occupational therapy.
• To promote a culture of equity, inclusive environment and respecting the dignity and diversity of all people.
• To provide opportunities of continuing professional development and enhancing role of OTs in other areas such as health management, advocacy and policy making.
